Andrew - Owner

Andrew grew up on what we now call Full Circle Community Farm. His Parents, Rick and Val, imparted the desire to farm in a way that reflects nature. After going to school in Marquette Michigan and getting a degree in ecology he decided to continue his education and get a Master's degree in microbiology where he met Heather. Andrew is in charge of field operations in the vegetables, managing soil preparation, fertilization, weed and disease management and harvest timing. Additionally, he heads up hog operations and oversees everything from farrow to finish. His favorite thing to grow on the farm is pasture followed closely by lettuce. Walkie Talkie Call Sign: GOPHER

Heather - Owner

Heather grew up in New Mexico and moved to Marquette, Michigan to pursue a Master's degree in biology.  She met Andrew there, and after completing her Masters, moved with him to his family farm - Full Circle - in 2017. With no background in farming, she jumped headfirst into learning about and practicing regenerative agriculture and business management.  She is now the lead on sales and administration for the farm and manages SLO Farmers Co-op, where she works with other small, local farmers to offer our customizable CSA and other wholesale sales.  Walkie Talkie Call Sign:  SKYNET

Scott - Owner

Scott was born and raised in Wisconsin. His previous career was property and casualty insurance, where he was a claims adjuster. His "midlife crises" resulted in a return to college, where he got his associate degree in sustainable agriculture. After meeting with Heather and Andrew, Scott and they formed Full Circle Community Farm, LLC.  Scott's primary functions on the farm is pack shed manager and greenhouse manager in addition to assisting with field management.  Scott's favorite vegetables are celeriac, rutabaga and spaghetti squash. Scott hopes to soon learn more about bee keeping and starting an apiary on the farm for honey production.

SHANNON - Chickens and Field Crew

Shannon grew up in Northeast Wisconsin and attended NWTC & UW Oshkosh to pursue a career in IT. After 10 years at a desk, life brought her back to NWTC where she got her degree in sustainable agriculture. She first joined the team interning with Full Circle Community Farm where they provided (and continue to provide) mentorship, friendship and opportunities to expand her goal of starting her own small farm with her family. Her favorite tasks are washing eggs and talking to plants.

AMBER - PACK SHED Manager

Amber is a transplant from the coastline of Virginia. She moved to Wisconsin in 2016 started at the farm in 2018 as a worker share. After two years she began to work here full-time. She moved on to the farm in 2020 and never looked back. In Amber’s off hours she enjoys knitting, embroidery and any kind of fiber craft she can get her hands on. You can generally find her in the pack shed or in her trailer conveniently situated next to the pack shed, which makes for a very convenient commute. Amber is satisfied with her life on the farm. The people are amazing the work is fulfilling and you can’t beat the fresh vegetable supply. Walkie Talkie Call Sign: MIDNIGHT SUN

LAUREN - Newsletter, Social Media, and Field Crew

Lauren grew up in Pulaski and received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison. In 2017 she started working at organic farms in south central Wisconsin where she met many dear friends and mentors. She moved home in 2020 and was welcomed into the Full Circle Community Farm crew. Lauren is grateful to Full Circle for their dedication to sustainable organic farming and their generosity in sharing time, knowledge, resources with others. She especially loves taking moments throughout the day to appreciate the beauty of life on the farm, and sharing those moments with others through the newsletter and social media. LANA - Field Crew

Lana grew up on the sandy plains of central Wisconsin where she developed an early appreciation for gardening from her grandma.  After graduating from MSTC, she moved to Green Bay to start a career in IT.  During the big reset, Lana started school at NWTC, trading her technology field for farm fields.  She graduated in 2022 with an Associate’s Degree in Sustainable Food and Agriculture Systems.  Lana started working at Full Circle as an intern in 2021 and has stayed on ever since.  She now mostly works with produce.  She adores peppers and her favorite activity is water wheeling.  Walkie Talkie Call Sign: DRIFT QUEEN

CHERYL - MICROGREENS, DELIVERIES, and Bookkeeping

Cheryl was born and raised in Wisconsin and first came to Full Circle Community Farm as a worker share in 2021. She enjoyed working during her time as a volunteer, which lead her to pursue a position with the farm.  She made the transition from working over 35 years in an office environment.  Even with no prior experience she quickly realized how much she liked organic farming.  Cheryl looks forward to her day being involved with the farm responsibilities of seeding, planting, harvesting, CSA packing, delivery driving and administrative bookwork. Her favorite and what she is most passionate about is growing microgreens!

OLIVIA - 2ND YEAR APPRENTICE

Olivia grew up in Stiles, Wisconsin.  In 2014 she received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Education/Interpretation from UW-Stevens Point, which ignited her passion for nurturing sustainable, local food systems.  She came to Full Circle Community Farm as an apprentice, helping this farm grow its vision while planting the seeds for her own future farm business.  On the farm, Olivia enjoys the all-day harvests and preparation for CSA and farmers markets.  She also loves swapping recipe ideas with customers at the market! ZACHARY - 2ND YEAR APPRENTICE

Zachary’s career in the food industry has spanned from food production to point of sale and post-consumer waste. He holds certifications from the Chicago Botanical Garden and City Colleges of Chicago for Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Agriculture. The scale of the farms he has worked with ranges from 1/8-200 acres, in both urban and rural settings as well as raised bed and native soil systems. He is currently completing a state sponsored apprenticeship focusing on skills for Organic Vegetable Farm Management at Full Circle Community Farm in Wisconsin. My belief is that food access is a human right and that we as a populace all have a duty to build and support sustainable food structures. I was attracted to Full Circle Community Farm because of its organic certification and their recombinant practices of making its own compost and pasture raised animals.

CARRIE - WORKER SHARE

Carrie grew up in Wisconsin, left to go earn an undergraduate and master’s degree in engineering, and is now back to raise her family. After working in engineering for a few years she decided to switch gears and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainable Management. Interested in the food system, she decided to sign up for a worker share position to learn more about how an organic, sustainable regenerative farm operates. Carrie enjoys the variety of non-sedentary work in the outdoors and the fantastic group of people. Packing CSA boxes and harvesting tomatoes are some of her favorite activities, and the water wheel planter is always an adventure!

JEN - WORKER SHARE

Jen grew up in Hortonville, WI and is currently a full time mom of two to her son, John Paul, and daughter, Kateri. She met Heather and Full Circle at the Appleton Farmers Market. As a worker share she helps out once a week on the farm and loves the outdoors time working with her hands and the break from her kiddo. Jen also loves her coworkers on the farm; her favorite activity is anything she gets to do with her lovely farm friends! She loves all that Full Circle is about and is passionate about regenerative farming, eating and cooking with the healthiest food possible in order to nourish the body and soul.
